Overlooking London’s Regent’s Park, York & Albany offers a lifestyle experience, showcasing a restaurant, bar, delicatessen, meeting and events space with ten luxuriously appointed bedrooms and suites.

This majestic John Nash building dates from the 1820s and was originally a coaching inn. York & Albany offers a lifestyle experience with food at its heart and in surroundings that capture the elegance of the Regency period. The renovation of the interior of the building has been overseen by acclaimed designer Russell Sage who specialises in working with both antique and contemporary finishes. The marrying of the two is visible with his use of traditional British fabrics and modern design elements.

With two dining areas, guests can choose between a domed ceiling with a courtyard view or the drama of an open kitchen. Starters include dishes such as Salmon and tiger prawn raviolo, confit leek, squid ink vinaigrette, whilst main courses on offer include Roasted partridge, smoked garlic pomme purée, spinach, baby artichokes. Treats to finish include Apple tarte Tatin, tonka bean ice cream and York & Albany homemade ice-creams.

Guests enter York & Albany through the stunning heart of the building. A tapas menu is available all day and complements the extensive list of champagnes and wines, with many served by the glass. A comprehensive cocktail list sits alongside an exciting selection of international spirits and beers.

The delicatessen, housed in the former stables, retains the original door opening directly onto the street. It allows shoppers the opportunity to browse through jars of preserves, home cured meats, cheeses and tapas items, for taking away to be enjoyed at home. Hampers are also available with a choice of wines to complete your specially created picnic.

York & Albany offers ten uniquely designed guest bedrooms including two remarkable suites with views of the park.
