“Great music, desperately uncomfortable church pew-like seating unless you pay top pricing (£40) for one of the few round tables. On the plus side, acoustically fantastic, great proximity to the artist and extremely attentive waiting staff. Just borders on being pompous and middle aged compared to somewhere funkier like the Jazz Cafe in Camden.”

“Whilst living in London, I've been to Ronnie Scott's several times over the last few years, and I must say I have always enjoyed the experience there. Food may have gone downhill a tiny bit and obviously the smoking ban has reduced the whole jazz bar atmosphere (although the musicians must benefit hugely!) so i would still recommend going.”

“Lousy food, disgusting toilets, poor sound system and all for the princely sum of £80+ per head. Try to complain and you will be threatened with being thrown out. Go see jazz elsewhere - you will be better off in more ways than one.”
