Not far from the bustle of Camden Market, Zensai is an individual restaurant and bar serving an intoxicating concoction of Indo-Malaysian cuisine. Food is served in the mezzanine restaurant, and award-winning cocktails are mixed in the basement bar. The retro-chic reception area is made up of a monumental mirror ball, red leather seating and mirrored walls, which leads up to the intimate restaurant filled with softly-lit Vietnamese lanterns.
The bar's centre piece is a handmade crystal bar top, featuring one of the largest selection of spirits this side of Mayfair. Zensai's chefs pride themselves on their fresh, vibrant and flavoursome dishes, while the cocktail bar serves classic cocktails with a twist.
Zensai has been awarded Mixologist of the Year 2010 and 2011, Best Late Night Bar 2010 and 2011, and Best Themed Restaurant 2011 at the London Food & Drink Awards. (Updated 25/02/2013)

“If you havn't been to Zensai before i would advise you to go because i had a really good time with my friends and i would go again and again, its a nice place to have a meal and start drinking, i went there to jus have 1 or 2 drinks then move to another bar but i didnt i stuck around cause when you and your friends are having real good fun why go else where,plus i really wanted to try the food out which i really enjoyed, really good food,i would give the food 10 out of 10 if i was on "come dine with me" you get nice size portions and for the price you cant go wrong, just go there and find out for yourself you wont be dissappointed, 1st classed all the way”

“We had a most enjoyable evening at Zen Sai last Saturday. We started with cocktails in the bar area.. Wow we all agreed these were some of the best cocktails we had tasted. Service was polite and friendly.
We then went upstairs for dinner and the food was great. The service was really friendly and helpful none of the stuffiness that you normally encounter in good restaurants. The food and cocktails was served in good time and they seemed genuinely interested to see if we were enjoying it. The atmosphere was good with a trendy crowd and lively music. A great night out we will definitely return!”

“This is the best bar ive been to since moving to London six months ago.not only are the cocktails expertly mixed( I recommend the bollywood martini or the floridita ),but the atmosphere is very cool and it's rarest treasure and it's greatest selling point is the fact that the staff are so nice and helpful.it's a shame that this is so hard to come by in the bar industry these days.Zensai ticks all the boxes.”
