In the 1920’s, the good folk of Shoreditch shopped here for toasters, hoovers and the lastest brand of gramaphone. Now Darts, Billiards, pie and mash and a vast selection of fine ales & draught beers fill the 400 capacity pub. Downstairs the showrooms hosts an array of nightly entertainment. (Updated 26/07/2008)

“I was purely passing by on the 135 Bus which zooms just past and I was VERY impressed with what I saw - a funky groovy electrifying atmosphere and environment busy with beautiful people outside and in and uptempo funky house from what I heard as my bus stopped close to the Hoxton Street. I will be going to Electricity Showrooms this Saturday evening for Dinner and Drinks and might find me a Toaster for the night in these here credit crunch 1929 times!
