The original B@1 opened in May 1998, this former Indian restaurant is the Daddy of the group. Situated at the junction of Battersea Rise and Northcote Road, the bar is three minutes from Clapham Junction Station.
The small bar at the front has a great selection of drinks and is well known for its cocktails, which include some rather unusual concoctions as well as the usual suspects. The interior is warm and welcoming with bare brick, open fireplaces, wooden furniture and low lighting supplementing the vibe created by down-to-earth bar staff.
B@1 Battersea was the proud recipient of Flavour Magazine Classic Bar of the Year Award 2005. (Updated 12/06/2007)

“A cosy little venue that draws a laid-back cool crowd without the pretentions. Brilliant music. Watch out for the very generous measures or you won't be able to walk out of the place!”

“This is such a friendly, relaxed bar it feels like you could be drinking in your front room with a load of mates. The focus is on drinks (they don’t serve food), the list is good although my one criticism is that they only have 2 wines by the glass. When I went there they were playing loads of nostalgic tunes from my 6th form and Uni days, so if you’re in your late twenties and feel like reminiscing I would recommend it!”
