The name Roadhouse says it all. Found in a basement by Covent Garden market this is an American 1950’s styled bar with an American dinner on the side of an expansive bar floor. We couldn’t find any real bikers but bikes are a solid theme; all puzzlingly imported from Argentina there's a 1952 Harley Davidson sitting proudly above the bar and more spread around the place. An added bonus (if you’re into this) are the leather clad flair bartenders flipping and occasionally dropping the odd bottle - all for your amusement.
Now the important bit: the drink deals. To be honest you’ll be hard pushed to find anywhere around Covent Garden where you could drink cheaper. Take along someone you want to get seriously inebriated with.

Customer Reviews for The Roadhouse
“Don't expect decent treatment from the doorman !
Seriously, I cannot recommend this place. It is the first time in my life that I received bad treatment for the doorman. Also, is overcrowded, expensive and overrated ... there are too many clubs much better in London to visit. For instance, in islington or Camden there are several options.
Yesterday, I was quite dissapointed when we went with my brother who a few hours ago was landed from Miami. We wanted to have a good time in an allegedly a live music venue, but instead we received the worst service from the bald rude guy who receive the customers at doors. Finally, we left this awful place and then we went to Camden were we had wonderful time in different amazing venues much more cheaper and better service so far.”

“Disappointed
First: cocktails are very very bad (at least - Long Island tea, mojito, margarita and sex on the beach). I haven't tried any others, just not to waits more money.
Second: NO draft beer?????!!!!!!!!!
Third: Our table had a waitress that we had to wait 20 minutes after every drink order. Bar was empty, so we ended up going to bar by our self.
Fourth: For reservation of bar table, I paid 50 pounds, which I could spend during the night..... but what do you think, later waitress and manager said, that I haven't paid and I need to pay by cash now. (bad communication between them and sales team??????) Next day I checked bank statement - and 50 pounds was taken....
GOOD THING: many people, music OK, no queuing at a bars.
Im not going back over there for sure, especially when so many nice & welcome places around Covent Garden.
This is opinion of me and 4 friends of mine.”
