Customer Reviews for Sway
“Dear reader,
I deeply regret not checking this and other review sites before my wife and I made our arrangements for Sway. Sadly we were 'locked in' due to it being packaged as part of a hotel deal online.
In one word: Awful.
In more: We both found the service appalling, the staff seem new and confused, the food (can someone tell me please how you can really mess up cheesy garlic bread? It resembled plastic on balsa wood).
It took thirty - THIRTY - minutes for this shambles of a starter to arrive and when we complained it was met with a curt 'Ok'.
The lower stairwells smelt of sewage and the DJ (I use the term in the loosest possible sense) in the nightclub seemed to not so much be playing or mixing but rather talking to his girlfriend and ensuring the album 'Ministry of Sound Greatest Hits 2010' continues to spin.
All in all it comes across as a racket intent on pumping out overpriced cheap food, expensive drinks and poor music.
In short, the venue cares about one thing only, m”

“Very dissapointed. I booked in for a stag party to be told atthe door that we were a large group of men (dont say) and was told we were not allowed in. I have lost all my money and whole stag night was ruined”

“I often lunch here as the food is great and you're guaranteed a seat. Let down by the slow service.”

“I was in London on a weekend city break from Italy. I am originally from London and like to get back as much as possible. I had heard of Sway but had never gotten round to going. I went there on a Saturday night with a few friends and loved it.
We managed to get there just before ten pm and missed the cover charge, which was a good start to the evening. The place was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait long at the bar. The staff were relaxed and seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The best part of the night for me was the music. It was really funky house and the DJ in the main area knew what he was doing! All in all it was a great night (even though the next morning wasn't). I will definitely be going back there.”
