Moose has been taken over by new management. It was fully refurbished in May 2010 and is now trading daily and looking forward to welcoming you down soon!

Situated at the holy trinity of West End shopping that is Oxford Street, Bond Street and Wigmore Street is Moose. Cool rather than ‘achingly hip’, Moose is a mass of intriguing contradictions. It’s a bar. It’s a club. It’s a lounge. And it also serves tasty light bites.

Elegant yet quirky, with a relaxed and friendly vibe, Moose is set in a luxury Whistler-style ski lodge. Capable of holding 300, it still feels intimate thanks to its eclectic, warm design and good-looking, fun-loving hosts.

On the ground floor is a classic champagne and cocktail bar, open from 11am until 11pm, that seduces passers-by and tempts them in.

On fine days, guests can relax on the al fresco area and admire the view whilst enjoying a light lunch of Mediterranean style salads and delicious bites washed down with competitively priced bubbles. Others may prefer to choose from one of Moose's designer cocktails including house special, The Moose Fizz, a beguiling blend of vodka, prosecco, ripened pears and spices, designed for those who favour the gentle touch.

Others may prefer to hibernate in the hidden play room complete with everything boys and girls need for an afternoon or evening of unbridled pleasure.

When the witching hour approaches, those in-the-know make a bee-line for Moose's basement bar. Immediately welcoming, this is the antithesis of the over-priced, soulless spots that proliferate the capital; a laid-back, well-priced late night lounge, it has the feel of a New York speakeasy but with a healthy dose of London street cred.

Here you’ll find fast and friendly service, an array of up-and-coming young DJs and a door policy that guarantees the place is never packed to the rafters. Also on the agenda is a selection of one-off events handpicked to please all of London’s diverse musical tastes.

Principals

Gabriel De-Vere - General Manager
A man who combines a seemingly limitless knowledge of the hospitality industry with a passionate drive to succeed, Gabriel has spent the last 10 years setting up and running some of London’s most celebrated establishments. Having cut his teeth in cocktail-led venues like Lounge Lover, he quickly progressed to such globally renowned projects as Sketch and Cocoon and, most recently, glamorous private members club Dolce in Piccadilly.

James Passmore - Marketing and Promotions Director
James has been a popular fixture in the European night clubbing arena for over six years, establishing himself as a master of promotions and management. His enthusiasm and commitment have been put to great use in venues including No 5 Cavendish, Merah and Pangaea. James has also been influential overseas, his long list of contacts enabling him to seamlessly connect the Marbella jet set with the London scene. His warm, professional character ensures his clientele are loyal and well looked after, time after time.

Luca Quaradeghini – Host & Club Manager
Luca is the only member of the Moose team who is not a seasoned industry professional. However, his cheeky nature, boundless joie de vivre and polite manner, all essential qualities of a good host, make him more than qualified to oversee the running of Moose. He has been an integral part of the London scene for over a decade, since he first blagged his way into the Met Bar and Tokyo Joes. He has subsequently partied at Café de Paris, China White, Boujis, Sketch, Cuckoo, Maddox and Sanderson to name but a few. A fully paid up member of one of the capital’s coolest young crowds, his connections will ensure that Moose becomes a favourite haunt of models, fashionistas and actors.

Hans Vandeputte – Creative Director
Hans has been working in the hospitality business for over 12 years, both in London and Europe. A man of many talents, his artistic background first led him into property design. Simultaneously developing a professional, as well as social, interest in wine and champagne, Hans decided to return to the classroom. Five years later, he is now a highly qualified oenologist and viticulturist, with a reputation as a leading lecturer in all things wine, an impressive private client base and a thriving sideline in cellar design. Wine is a natural complement to design, food, art, music and hotels and the merging of these themes has resulted in Hans becoming a much sought after consultant in the atmospheric design of restaurants, bars and hotels. He is currently working on a number of projects, one of which is assisting Moose-London and advising the group on the design and launch of future venues.

Natalia Markovna – Front of House Door Manager
Natalia is the newest and hottest member of the Moose family. A fluent Russian speaker, she is still a Londoner through and through. She began her career as a dance captain for the MTV network which in turn led to an appearance in a live Kanye West show. Until recently she appeared weekly on MTV Live. In addition, Natalia has been a top runway model, signed to two of London’s most exclusive agencies. A multi-tasker, she also helped promote a heavy metal band and it was after returning from tour that she decided to turn her attentions to the night clubbing trade, working in such venues as Jalouse, No 5 Cavendish, Maya, Movida and Maddox. Natalia’s brilliant hosting skills and ability to put people at their ease will be appreciated by all who meet her.
